For Decision-Makers

A monitoring tool you can trust.

The Waste Flow Diagram uses carefully collected data to help decision-makers reduce the rate of littering in your municipality.

Getting Started

As presented in the WFD Compendium, the Waste Flow Diagram has been applied in a variety of different contexts, leading to all kinds of changes in the waste management infrastructure.

With the help of this portal, you will be able to compare the waste management systems of a number of cities, learn from their experiences and get ideas about the changes that have already been triggered by the implementation of the WFD. In this way, you can use the tool to make your own assessment and customise an intervention plan using the tool’s scenario function to make informed, evidence-based decisions.
